We got talking to Hilary just under 1 year ago after sharing a mutual love of dance music, since then a friendship has grown and we have witnessed first hand Hilary's music skills and talent rise rapidly through the Miami music scene. Hilary has gone from playing house parties to tearing up some of the most popular venues not just in Miami but also New york in a short space of time which speaks volumes! We are a fan and think its about time you got to hear just what Hilary can do behind the decks. This mix is a blistering arrangement of dark tech/techno at it filthiest and since Hilary sent it over yesterday we've had it on repeat, full blast!

Hilary Warner Bio

22 year Hilary Warner from Miami, FL, forever knew she had a passion & a good ear for music. But it wasnt until early 2010 where she stumbled upon the “House” music scene. Being in the South beach area, Hilary would venture out to different clubs, afterhours, & lounges while noticing all the different style music the venues would be playing. Not long after, she started to realize the dark, chunky bassline, dramatic type sound of music was what she loved, for her it was like a match made in heaven.

After observing friends at work all the time, Warner began to watch & experiment with different types of equipment, courtesy of her many DJ/producer friends. After a few months, Hilary knew it was time to invest in her very own musical tech toys. knowing that if this is what she wanted, she had to put the hours in. She dedicated all of her weekends, nights off work,& any free time to learn the decks. Months went by of practicing, messing up and practicing, & after some time, she finally was ready to DJ some small house parties & venues. Sooner or later, Her fear of being behind the decks was somewhat over,.. she knew she was ready to bring her raw talent distinct sound & passion for music to the clubs!! Hilary with her bubbly, funky personality immediately created a South Florida buzz and soon found herself DJing at all the popular nightclubs/venues in Miami.

Hilary's most recent achievement was playing out of Miami and up in New York. More than conquering The City That Never Sleeps, her long-term goals include creating a fanbase all around the world, producing abroad and getting signed to a record label. And, as the new-year mark approaches, Warner’s focus remains simple. “I just want to get people who aren’t into this music scene to fall in love,& understand it like I have,” she says. “To me, that’s all that matters.”

Her music is influenced by Magda, Richie Hawtin ,Carl Cox, Marco Carola, tINI & many more. Hilary is working on forthcoming production / releases for the 2012 New year!
