GAMALUKÜ returns for its 2012 debut bringing you the best in Underground House and Disco.
The unique atmosphere continues as we celebrate our first party with the Mexicans for CINCO DE MAYO.
So don a tash and dig out your sombrero as we will be raising a Tequila in the sunshine at Northamptons only day party.
ONEFIFTEEN:-
On a cold Friday evening in November 2011, two amorous Leicester-based DJs found themselves sipping Cham 69s one in the city's finest bars; The Interlude.
A few drinks later the pair realised that their intended dates for the evening had stood them up... leaving them high and dry for their night's entertainment. Then, by a bizarre twist of fate - the pair were asked to step in and DJ in the bar that evening, due to a late cancellation.
Feeling moody yet still very fruity, the boys slipped on their first tune in the just-getting-going Interlude bar. Lost in the groove and unaware of the unusually slow tempo... heads began to nod, feet began to tap and drinks began to flow.
There was a feeling in the air mirrored by the boys' own emotions... one of allure, seductiveness and temptation but with a very distinctive seedy after taste.
Firmly fixed in a onefifteen bpm mix, the partnership was forged... and the hypnotic deep, slow, sex music can now be heard weekly, as a Friday gathering in the cosy, intimate surroundings of The Interlude.
With words or music, one thing is for sure... onefifteen will fuck you x
We would like to thank everybody that attended the last event, not only did you contribute to creating a truly unique atmosphere but you also helped raise money for ALWAYS A CHANCE. The charity has been set up on the back of the tragic shootings of a local lad, James Kouzaris, 24, and his friend James Cooper, 25 in Florida last year and recently saw the sentencing of a guilty teen with two life sentences. Always a chance has been established in their memory to change the lives of young people being at risk of being involved in violent crime, for more info. check out the website, a great cause to be involved with.
